Ok, goin on the topic of what movies you have seen. What movies or DVD's have you brought of late. How much did u pay?Dont wanna know what you have d/loaded just what you have brought.

Ill kick it off:

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory: The original movie, was $13 i couldnt pass on it.

Shawshank Redemption: One of my all time fav movies, was also $13 how could i pass that up, its all a 2-disc special edition.

Yes Prime Minister Series 2 - Free usually ~$20-$22

There was this promotion by some website in a newspaper giving out 100 000 $21 vouchers last Sunday :D

Freebies!!

Offspring Complete Video Collection, and didn't cost me anything. Apparently, I had a credit at the store I purchased it at (I hadn't purchased anything for at least 6 months, so I must have pre-ordered and paid for a CD, but didn't pick it up).

Thinking of getting Blade Boxset $30 and a few others @ $20 this week though.

The O.C Season 1: $35
The O.C Season 2: $40
24 Season 1-3 $79.90

Bought a couple of boxed sets cause there's nothing good to watch on "free to air" television.

Jack Bauer and Ryan are like soooo KEWL 8)

the Longest Yard, best comedy of the year :D
and
rushhour box set, got for $20 - down from 50

See Mean Machine as well for the UK version of The Longest Yard. That was the original movie with Vinny Jones in it.

They're both good movies.

Longest Yard - 4.5/5. There was just something missing making it a perfect 5. but it was still great flic!

It was definately one of Sandlers' better movies. not carrying on like a jackass.

Nelly can run too! lol.

And how many know that the Adam Sandler "Longest Yard" and Mean Machine are both remakes of "Longest Yard" with Burt Reynolds starring as the prisoner? (Hence his role in the latest version)

Not I.

I stand corrected by Clarkey :D

Was the original original any good?

C'mon now, I'm 23 and I knew that! 8)

Definatley thought it was Adam Sandler's best movie!

Did anyone notice how large Courtney Cox's breasts were at the start, coz I saw it on the big screen and they were hard to miss! :smt007

It's not because of my age that I know that. As there is a Sanity outlet under the movie complex we generally go to (Marion), quite often we head there after the movies (or before). Anyway, when it was showing, they had heaps of stock of the original in. Plus my cousing is a huge movie buff, and knows heaps of that useless info stuff, and he also told me.

I must say I enjoyed the movie immensely when I saw it. The funniest for me, was watching Kevin Nash (former Wrestling Champion) as the guard on hormones. Remembering him as this big physical wrestler, and then seeing him acting this out, was hilarious.
