Hey.

I just picked up several Robinson cards, some of which are Fleer Buy Backs. Each of these cards have been individually numbered as well (3 of 9, 2 of 3 etc).

Another card was a Fleer Genuine Buy Backs '89 Hoops' Autographed.

Can anyone fill me in with exactly what the 'Buy Backs' are? ..as from what I can see (in the case of the '89 Robinson) it is the exact card that was released in '89, with a sticker with the autograph added on.

Thanks
Cavey

Hey there
Buybacks are generally cards released in previous sets or years that the card company buy back from the general public and then re issue with an auto etc but in limited quantities through current sets. I reckon these are better than half the crap that is pumped out from ud now days as they are usually quite good cards that they "buy back"

gtfour is correct. But early Fleer ones will have a stamp on them. Hold the card up to a light on an angle and look for the stamp on both front and back. They are hand numbered as well.
