Boonie & Beefy Dolls !!!

Who here has them ???

I got to admit, I didn't think much of them at first but I bought a set for a mate through eBay and he brought them to work when the cricket was on and they were awesome !!! What a laugh !!! I have since bought my own set and got them on friday......they are just fantastic The comments they come out with when you least expect it are a laugh & a half !!! They only arc up when the cricket is on but it sure make the day interesting

Does anyone know if they continue onto the Cricket World Cup and into next year ??? Does anyone have the original Boonie from last year and if so does he still give out comments this year ???

Apparently the Boonie doll sand Christmas carols on Christmas day as well...very, very good piece of marketing!!

Yeah i got those dolls, they're pretty sweet. they come as a pair and you get them with VB Slab promotion. They only talk to each other during the Ashes and the one day internationals, finish mid Feb. I wonder how long the batteries will last after that? Dont keep these in ya bedroom! They woke me up constantly over the summer!

yeah I have,he used to work for Tasmanian Cricket Association (Dunno if he still does) and one of my old jobs we used to do some work for them and he would often call in or ring up.

Are you sure about this dude ? Wouldn't they continue on into the World Cup and next Season's cricket ??? I heard last years Boonie is still going this year !!! Does anyone know what the go is ? Do they keep going next year or finish up this year ?

i think from memory you have to break his base apart to get to the batteries or something

you can change the battries in the old one. did it to mine and it kept on going
