Very low act. To take the money n make up stories about not being able to get to the post office for two weeks. You would make it a priority to go on a lunch break or Saturday to post registered post once you had been paid $2500 for the card. Than to find out he doesn't even have the card is a discrace. I would Lose it.

I trusted him so much. I really wanted to believe him but 2 and a half month is a very long time and like you said itÂ´s possible to go in a break or on Saturday.

I already contacted the Australian Federal Police because of this fraud. I gave them all informations I have (the facts, his name, his adress) and I hope something will happen. Of course IÂ´ll contact my Lawyer, too. Maybe I was stupid that I trusted him so much and so long but now I wonÂ´t stop till I get him!!!!

I'd like for Steve to come on and explain his side of the story too, maybe cherrycollectables needs to provide more details on the card/debt too but remember we are talking about a member with 600+ feedback here compared to one from Germany with 15 who is the only one to post anything. Not saying people with perfect feedback are immune to taking a wrong turn but all the people posting here are people that have had no deals or not many and are ready to jump all over people.

Hopefully this can be cleared up sooner rather than later.

I've dealt with Steve over 10 times and always found him to be honest and has always done the right thing, hopefully there is a good explanation/ or reason for not sending promptly, i hope everything gets sorted out asap. Don't be too hard on yourself Mohammad, I've sent cards worth 100's before Steve payed because he's always been extremely trustworthy.

@GarnettFan4Life: I have 1160 positive feedbacks on ebay, only positiv feedbacks on Dascardboard.eu & Hobbykings.com! Many people knows me personally. I contacted him so many times but he didnÂ´t answer but much more important is that I still havenÂ´t the card that I payed for. No problem to proof that! If you want I can post here most of his mails to me.

I payed $2500 and send him cards with a value of $2000. I have nothing. I think I havenÂ´t any reason to lie here.

Bolli, i hope you get your card soon or your money back. It seems very weird for someone with his kind of feedback on these forums to do something like that. However, I hope both parties are able to sit down and work someone out. It saddens me to see another trade/sale on cards go wrong =(

Not knowing exactly what has transpired here it's very difficult for any of us to comment about what should or shouldnt happen here.

Knowing steve, I would find it very difficult to believe that he would purposely go out of his way to rip ANYONE off. It's just not his style and as far as I know he hasnt had any dramas on this site with anyone in over 600 transactions.

That being said, his absence has been unusual, and I truly hope everything is all ok with him and he hasnt indeed backed himself into a situation he cant get out of.

I'm posting here to show my support for Steve as I truly believe he's one of our very best members.

I'm posting to also show my support for bolli and cherry - hoping that this all works out financially for both of these members aswell.

Hopefully this all sorts itself out asap with as little or no tarnish to anyones name or reputation as possible.

Wow Steve has always been so great to me in the past! Not defending him from any wrongdoing but I just hope there's just nothing sinister or unfortunate about his absence from OCT and Facebook. Hope you can come online sometime and try and sort this thing out!

I think that's a little harsh, there are plenty of people posting here who are supportive of Steve (myself included) based on their experiences with him whilst at the same time not condoning the way Mohammad has described being treated (be it true or not), regardless of who the perpetrator is.
Surely there's nothing wrong with that?

Sorry to hear the bad news regarding both all 3 parties but I think there are a couple of things worth pointing out

1. Steve and I have done a heap of deals (large and small) over the time I have known him. 1 thing stands out about him and that was his effort to rectify any issues no matter how small ( i only ever had 1 small issue and he was always determined to sort it out although I always explained it was okay ). His postage method and effort made in the hobby is second to none and that is from my own experience and I am sure many can share a similar experience. If there is some personal/work/financial reasons for this claim then he is one person who wont be happy until its sorted out

2. A main part of this hobby is the occasional impulsive buyer and I have been caught with this myself, if it wasn't buying a card I really could not afford at the time or even busting one box too many but in the end, anything that we spend our disposable income on needs to be managed to avoid it taking money from Bills etc
Giving credit to people is never a good thing and I am guilty of doing it from time to time but I keep it at a manageable level $30/$50 and the person would need to post up a deal here regarding the due payment date Letting someone bust hundreds of dollars of boxes without paying is just irresponsible of sellers and will always leave the door open to not getting paid at all by the irresponsible buyer with a bigger desire to bust than what they can possibly afford.

3. Covering yourself as much as you can should be a no brainer and doing Deal threads on OCT are there for a reason ! Not putting all information in that section is something I don't understand. If something does go wrong it will be easier for others to help if they really know what the deal but I can also understand keeping it a bit private but surely a deal of this magnitude would warrant all fine print put into the deal ?

In the end, I hope it all gets sorted out and that others learn from it in a positive way.

Have dealt with Steve a few times and all transactions have been perfect.

Hopefully this gets sorted out, it seems very out of character but if it is true, then it is very damning.

Ergh, what a mess....

Very sorry for your situation Bolli, and to the Cherry-team too for that matter. I have dealt with Steve before too, and have found, like everyone else, that he was a great guy to deal with, very friendly and fair. I have every faith that this situation will be rectified given Steve's character and the respect that we all have for him. Desperate times can call for desperate measures, and as long as this does get sorted, I will be holding no ill feelings towards Steve at all, we all end up down and out at some stage, and it's the healthy recovery that really matters.

I'd still be looking into further action though, waiting for the ship to right itself can be a mistake, and may help to urge Steve to get things in order.
Again, sympathy to you Bolli, and I hope for all three parties that this gets sorted and everyone can forgive, forget and move on

I had to triple read every post in here and pick myself up from falling off my chair to believe what i was reading never thought i would see the day Steve was even accused of doing some one wrong.

I hope (and am pretty sure there will be) there is a reasonable explanation for what has happend. Its really out of character so it must have been something pretty huge for this to have happend and I hope everythings ok Steve.

Its an unfortunate thing thats happend to you Bolli and hope it sorts it self out in the not to distant future for you.

Yeah very sad for all, steve was my first deal here and we have had over 30 plus since with no dramas, like everyone else has said bolli I'm sure steve will try and rectify this as it's a very big surprise and shock. My best to all involved hope it all turns out ok!

Mate, the guy has to come on here and explain himself now. If i had a massive deal like this going, i'd do everything in my power to get it across the line. How difficult would it be for Bolli now to take everyone's advice to stay calm when he is down a couple of grand of his hard earned money with nothing to show for it and possibly no recourse? He would be absolutely packing it and thinking that he won't see his money or cards ever being 10,000 kms overseas. Prior dealings and feedback doesn't mean **** when you stuff up a deal of this magnitude. You can only really be judged on your last transaction.

I don't think anyone is saying "calm down" but that (hopefully) Steve has just hit a hurdle and will get it sorted out if any of his previous 600 deals are anything to go by
