Anyone else's wife react like this?

There have been quite a few on,but when i do find something and ask for a price,out comes the phone and they tell you this is the price on ebay.

If its not cheap enough, just walk away.

Well I have a trading card account , so in the clear for in coming post. But I do have a potential issue looming. I lent a few hundred from our joint account a month ago to get a mojo set. Now we have been away for a few weeks and I know I have a few new packages waiting for me on our return this week, with debt unpaid

To be honest, my wife is real clever and wouldn’t believe any of my bs , but like was mentioned, I think she just thinks it’s nerdy and at least I’m not out at the pub so she just ignores it
