Aminu mailday, 2 years in the making (part 1)

Hey guys,

For those that weren't aware, I moved to NZ in 2019 and moved back earlier this year after all the covid stuff, so during that time all my Aminu purchases had been sitting in my COMC account. It's safe to say I just received probably the biggest haul of Aminu cards in hand so after all the sorting and stuff I thought I would spread these out over a few different maildays.

2015-16 Limited #122 Al-Farouq Aminu /80 - This is the highest numbered card from this chase and not sure why I hadn't picked it up already. But happy to have it as it completes the rainbow


2016-17 Limited Gold Spotlight #11 Al-Farouq Aminu /25 - Another one I had been looking for which completes the rainbow,


2017-18 Donruss Holo Laser Green and Yellow #121 Al-Farouq Aminu- For some reason this Donruss set has been hard to find parallels of. I assume it's just people think they aren't worth listing.


2017-18 Donruss Holo Laser Yellow #121 Al-Farouq Aminu /25 - This yellow parallel has a nice gold look to it with the holo foil.


2017-18 Hoops Blue #232 Al-Farouq Aminu - Another hard set to find the non-serial parallels for.


2018-19 Hoops Premium Box Set #198 Al-Farouq Aminu /199 - I'm trying to track down the silver parallel of this which is also numbered to /199, but I'm not sure if people will get this premium parallel confused with the silver due to the silver foiling on this.


2018-19 Hoops Red #198 Al-Farouq Aminu /49 - I love the look of the red parallel with the blazers red uni on this one.


2018-19 Crown Royale Crystal Red #37 Al-Farouq Aminu /49 - Again the red parallel goes nicely with the team colours on this one.


2014-15 Prestige Premium Bonus Shots Gold #33 Al-Farouq Aminu /10 - From the most confusing year of Prestige with the 3 different sets they had, but the premium was the nicest looking and the foiling on this looks great.


2018-19 Certified Mirror Gold #136 Al-Farouq Aminu /10 - I really like the clean design of this certified set, and the gold looks epic.


2019-20 Donruss Signature Series #74 Al-Farouq Aminu AU - A pretty generic sticker auto, but I'm please there was no parallels for this one.


2018-19 Crown Royale Crystal Purple #37 Al-Farouq Aminu AU /25 - With the little amount of foiling on these, it does make the court kings parallels feel a bit average.


2019-20 Court Kings High Court Signatures Ruby #25 Al-Farouq Aminu AU /99 - I think these were some of the first autos I got of Aminu in the Magics uni.


2019-20 Court Kings High Court Signatures Citrine #25 Al-Farouq Aminu AU /49 - Is citrine just another name for orange? This one isn't even foil.


2019-20 Court Kings High Court Signatures Sapphire #25 Al-Farouq Aminu AU /25 - At least this is a low numbered one.


2019-20 Hoops Rookie Remembrance Jerseys #58 Al-Farouq Aminu - It's pretty cool seeing a new Aminu card in his rookie gear all these years later.


2019-20 Hoops Rookie Remembrance Jerseys Winter #58 Al-Farouq Aminu - These winter parallels feel a bit phoned in.


2019-20 Hoops Rookie Remembrance Jerseys Prime #58 Al-Farouq Aminu /25 - Not the flashiest patch but I'll take it.


2016-17 Panini Contenders Draft Picks Printing Plates Black #2 Al-Farouq Aminu 1/1 - Even tho this set is a few years old now this is the first of these plates I've seen come up for sale.


2018-19 Select #14 Al-Farouq Aminu - As always select has a classy looking base design.


2018-19 Select Prizms Silver #14 Al-Farouq Aminu - A nice looking silver.


2018-19 Select Prizms Green #14 Al-Farouq Aminu /5 - Not many super low numbered ones on this mailday, but this is a nice one.


2017-18 Select #7 Al-Farouq Aminu - This is probably my least favourite design of selects for the last few years.


2017-18 Select Prizms Concourse Pink #7 Al-Farouq Aminu /10 - I don't have a problem with pink, but it really doesn't fit this set.


2017-18 Select Prizms Black #7 Al-Farouq Aminu 1/1 - Always happy to land a 1/1 and the black looks really slick here.


2017-18 Panini Cornerstones Granite #44 Al-Farouq Aminu /25 - The parallels on cornerstones can be a bit hit or miss depending on the card design, for this one the granite is a bit ugly.


2017-18 Panini Cornerstones Onyx #44 Al-Farouq Aminu 1/1 - Unlike the granite, the onyx looks really nice.

SIck stuff as always man, true die hard PC collection. I think a few rainbow shots are in order though.

I hear you with Court KIngs, but they were never really a foil product - all about the textured finish - that;s what got me hooked on CK when they first released in 09-10. Fresh concept and not about all that bling. But hey, you do you, each tot heir own because beauty is in the eye of the behodler, right?

Hoping to see some Spurs cards soon or perhaps even the ultra rare Chicago Bulls offering?!

I definitely did knock off a few rainbows with the pick ups here. What I would love to do (time permitting) is work out which sets I have complete rainbows for and pull them all out and get group shots and share them that way.

I'm hoping we get a Spurs sighting cardboard wise, but it might be slim picking like his Dallas stint depending on his play time. I can't imagine and Bulls stuff made it into production tho.
