I thought he would get the treatment many no.1 picks get when they go to a team that has bottomed out( ground down by the weight of expectation ) but he's better than most number one picks and the Eagles are too good a club to stay down the bottom for long. If they hit another decent one in this year's draft they should rise quickly. But probably not as quickly as the team in the early 2000's when they drafted Judd. They already had Cousins and Kerr when Judd came. Nothing like that calibre there right now which makes Read's performances even better.
The more I look at that Jamie Eilliott card, the more I kinda want it. Great photo of a spectacular mark, and reminds me a little of the old Cazaly Classics cards.
