Hard to see GWS make any movement on the ladder for this season, but will be interesting to see how their kids turn out

Out of curiosity, what makes you think St Kilda will be top?

With the injection of some handy youth,a coaching panel more willing to attack the goals & open up the game for the forwards,
a good pre season on and off the field, i have no doubts the saints will have there strongest squad they've had
for the past 5 seasons.

Look for the likes of Nick Riewoldt, Brendan Goddard & Sam Gilbert to return to career best form

Just like there was daylight between Collingwood and the rest of the comp last year? ;)

I might be one eyed but i called for the eagles to be back in finals last year. Also called for Shuey to be our next star, all in print on bigfooty. This year watch for Kobe Stevens. Anyone who doesnt have him and Naita in their supercoach has rocks in their heads.

Oh and Dalbs my man you need to wage higher yourself.

I'll wager that the Eagles finish higher than this too?

I think they'll struggle. Coxy will be solid again, but the team can't afford for him to be injured. Not sure Naitanui is consistent enough to cover him yet. Their mass young brigade did them well last season, but I think other teams will pay them more respect and tighten up on them this year, so they won't be as effective.

gotta love supporters optimism lol, willc1986 and gaz876, i think you guys are confusing what you think will happen with what you want to happen. love the fact you back your teams to do well but really no-one will take tips like that seriously. if you had just put them in the top 4 it wouldnt have been a problem, but come on guys, minor premiers??? i know everyones entitled to have their opinion but not too sure many will agree.

Fair enough, I think the Eagles were lucky with injuries last year too, Nicnat will only get better, after his shoulder is right he will dominate the competition in a few years. He is a strong athlete. If Brisbane have a great year and get in the 8, I believe Rockliff can win a brownlow soon too.
