Snelling released Very disappointing. The pirates are probably my least favourite team with all the crap they insist on with their players. Even the local fans are sick of them and the way they trade away their big names. It seems as though they gave Snelling about 2-3 months of gametime...

all it needs is a beer tap on the back and we're good ;)

no money could be a problem :lol: i wouldnt pick a certain brand as such. pick whether you want to collect sets (i wouldnt recommend, especially living in australia), or whether you want to collect inserts/gu/autos. either way, post what you want and im sure ppl will lend a hand.

the young prospects will leave whether we have a national league or not. unfortunately kids dont grow up hoping to play in Australia... most of the comp will be filled with guys that have been playing over in college/pro ball and have given it up. i dont think it would be very successful from a...

nyana450, yeah he is back at school in Texas last I heard. I was in the national team with him about a bloody decade ago. good guy, and his brother is looking to be an awesome player. Needs to bulk up a bit, but got some skill.

the holliday/jones/ramirez is a decent pull...but yeah, the base Topps/Upper Deck box's have disappointed me in the past. Depends what you are looking to collect I guess, if you are a set builder, they are great.
