Cards you wish existed

We need a greater variey of AFL. (maybe a 3rd product/producer)
Such as more Gu's (But not flooding of the market such as NBA), but a range of maybe one player from each club per release, at mid - highish rariety (such as the ovation release), but as they'd be higher inserts, maybe patches instead of one colour piece's.
Also With this dual auto's in AFL would be great, "past and present" - "Locket and Buddy" or greats of 2008 "Judd and Bartel" .. some new concepts!!

There was a pretty neat Jordan 98 Finals game jersey card given out to UD employee's once.

I hate to tell you this but for the UD employee card featuring Jordan in the 98 finals, the pieces of jersey UD used had the screen printed patch pieces. In 98 they were using the fabric stitched patches which we see in most Jordan GU patch cards today.

While the photo was of his last finals with the Bulls, the jersey was from much earlier on.

I would love to see a Bradman GU card......now that would be awesome!

But the logoman wasn't printed. I'm pretty sure i still have the beckett issue with that Jordan card.It's the card showing the final shot in game 6 your talking about right?

Make's it even more special having Jordan screened jersey patches. .I've hardly seen any besides from those in the early 97-98 game jersey series.

Personalised redemption cards. Given the inability for the card companies to have cards produced in time for product release, why not take advantage and have some personalised cards? When you go to redeem online, you throw in a message (or at least your name) that the player you are redeeming then responds to when signing the card...not so great for resale value but could be a priceless addition to a PC.

Great idea.........for me leave the hobby sets alone, kids love em and they are massed produced..... for the second release, would love some cards similar to the signature patch cards from the NRL 2003 Select XL release, but i really really like the idea of a personalised auto card from a player. Drop the holofoil type cards from the second series as i see them as a waste. What about something like they did pack in the 1996 signature gold series (ARL), have value cards in the set that can be redeemed for other prizes, such as an autographed jersey or an oversized cel card (autographed) of course featuring legends of the game..........there is so much that select could do to improve their product.
