where to from here??

Props to Panini for the move business wise but I have always thought FOTL was unnecessary and just promoted flipping. But if there is a market for it you can't blame them for trying to maximise profit.

Good luck with this

Plenty of room for growth: #/15, #/18, #/22, #/28, #/250, #/350, #399, #/499. They're just getting started.

I know we joke about prizm parallel overload and I would love to see a return to a more simplified checklist, but I was thinking if they did strip this back for a new release and gave us less colours we would likely see people kick up a stink. What you guys think?

i just dislike that parrallels have seemingly come at the expense of creative inserts.

im happy for serial numbered cards. just make them interesting and fun like the 90s designs.

This is a good question. I'm not sure they'd be able to undo it without people getting upset.

But all down to consumer choice really. There are still products out there with smaller checklists, but people still buy into Prizm.

Was thinking about this the other day - inserts really seem to be looked down upon when people rip. Even I get a bit of a 'meh' feeling when pulling most inserts (there are plenty of exceptions of course). In reality inserts have a lower print run, but because this isn't highlighted on product, no one seems to care?

do you think putting a serial number on the inserts would help with this?

i reckon inserts are ignored early, but later on, inserts gain popularity.

Inserts have definitely been hurt by serial numbered parallels. Unless they are known to be super sp'd by being a case hit or something they dont tend to be appreciated. Its an unfortunate side effect that scarcity due to S/N seemingly trumps aesthetics at times
