ComC Mailbox and Sales Tax update

Hey Guys,
So I just an email from ComC saying that Ebay will be charging us a sales tax for sending cards to ComC!! What the heck? Anyone know anything about this? If this is the case, this is making it extra hard for collectors in Australia now...

Yes....... purchased a cheap card recently and it had the WA state tax (about 10%) added to it from Ebay when i checked out.

Not great for COMC users.

Yeh, I agree its not great for users.

BUT, it does kind of feel like karma for COMC after hiking prices more than half a dozen times since mailbox's inception...

I think you get charged $1 a day after that, but Ive never left it that long.

Just ship em before that, thats what I do

Apparently its only if its over $1000aud. Maybe someone can confirm this. My last lot sent over was declared at about $800 with no tax from Comc or customs.

If you're on Facebook, look up Robs Sportscards international service, run by Rob Greenberg. It's far better than COMC as a mailbox service, and better than mymallbox in my opinion.
