The waiting isn't so much my issue... I just REALLY want them!
To me this seems strange, you are finally about to receive the product so you remove them from the website?????
They weren't worried about selling them without stock for the previous 6 months.

Does seem strange unless given the problems they have had they have only gotten enough to fill orders that have been made.
But that leaves the question of why not delete all of them from the website?

I never ordered this product, but from the e-mail I received from Dan this morning (TCM will not be releasing the second lot of 8 teams) it seems that the cost the NRL requires for imaging rights is the killer factor.
I feel sorry for those guys who ordered the 8 other teams and now have no chance of getting them.
ESP scr*wed themselves with a massive licencing fee which Select laughed at and now this. It seems the NRL are their own worst enemy. They don't do any work for their cut - they are basically getting something for nothing....and are being REALLY greedy about it.
I feel another gap in NRL cards coming on.....1965-67.....1971-73....1983-85....1998-99....2016 or 17-???

Looks like it's a done deal mate - Shame for you boys, They're right there!!
From what I read, the NRL did not block the release. The massive fee the NRL wants for the image rights has made TCM decide not to release the other 8 teams. The massive fee obviously makes the release uneconomical.

Given only 18 people have signed the petition goes to show that the number of orders didn't match the cost to make the cards.
From what I read in the email from Dan I didn't think it was the NRL that blocked the release but the licence cost required by the NRL to release the cards exceeded the amount they were going to get on orders for the cards.

If they're made.... They'll surface somewhere.... One day....! And we'll all pay 15 times more for them!
Wouldn't have taken much for 100 traders here to make a bit of noise for them - May have helped.
I guarantee you they won't M....
They'll be torched on site, Not even a set kept by the manufacturer as a momento!!
