#001 League Sensations & Young Guns (Framed Jersey Image on Page 13)

The above really disappoints me.

I personally haven't had any issues getting replacements off ESP for low end stuff and I eventually received another Mini LS after several months of delays and stuff ups.

We all spend a considerable amount on cards as this is our hobby / passion. I pulled damaged cards with Select and never had any issues but the quality control with ESP is very poor, so many damaged cards or smudged signatures come from packets.

This, coupled with the significant price rise and underwhelming Elite 15 release is so detrimental for the hobby. Surely it can't go on like this?

I really want ESP to succeed as I love buying cards and collecting and my favorite part of the hobby is buying packets and busting something decent.

Come on ESP, you have certainly shown some great initiatives and concepts but the overall delivery is killing you!

Even took Provan Card to Newcastle show and showed Terry Wilson in person.
Got told they had no replacements.
Was one of the Reasons i have pulled back on ESP
Wow!! :confused::blink::eek::mad:

Girds only hated him cos he took Gordons beloved #1 Jersey...
Same reason he hates Moylan....
Girds hates Moylan to, the only #1 he has ever truly loved was flash

semi true.

i hate them more for the fact that they run the ball back like they have a busted back at a turtle speeds and make no metres, meaning the forwards have to come back even further to get on side.

Dallins probably my favourite player at penrith these days i hope he keeps the #1. move moylan to six, hes a better ball player than he is runner anyway.

That sounds like him...
"Oh well, that's just too bad"

Seriously, wtf... That is absolutely shocking!! Feel sorry for you buddy.

Assuming that the mark was made when Norm signed how in the hell does that actually pass quality control and into packets?

- Like he says mate, They have no spares...

208 needed, 208 Numbered, 208 Signed, 208 Put into packets (We hope)

Error??? - Why would they need to make room for error.
If something bad happens, Well that's someone else's fault

And if you didn't buy the pack direct from ESP and open it in the Front Office - Why would they possibly need help you?
- Not that they would if you did...

I can't quite see why someone who buys a card off eBay, or even this site, are treated as scum of the earth by ESP. They do realise someone has bought the pack, right? Not everyone can afford boxes or cases, so if they don't buy individual cards then it's less orders for next time by dealers and less money for ESP.

I can tell you that they get plenty of extras signed.

If they are putting 208 in packs, they would at least be getting 250 or thereabouts signed.

It's not only that, They have (What I assume) Are authorised distributors etc... Like Owen, Digga, Warren etc.
If I buy 2 Boxes or 2 Packets off Digga - And pull dud cards... Why is it Mine, Or Diggas responsibility. They're dud cards....
We didn't make them!!

Like I said to Terry, When it's a problem from being used incorrectly that's a different thing. But a Manufacturing fault is a manufacturing fault. I could buy a new car and sell it 3 times, If the manufacturer realises 12 months later the brakes blow out on that model - It gets recalled - And they pay to have it remedied, End of story. If it is poorly made or packaged... The fault lies with them.

So are you saying that there have been more than 40 of this particular card sent back for replacement Matt...

Or could it be that Terry handles the truth very carelessly?

OR... could it be, He has zero carefactor for the name or reputation of his company, And does not bother with small fundamentals such as product quality, Longevity and the like?

I honestly don't know how many have been returned but I have no doubt they would have some unnumbered spares available.

I suggested that signing sessions should be recorded in the future
I wonder if the guys that grade cards could tell me if its the same pen been used

Wouldn't be hard to tell Dave, Tone, Depth and Ink distribution are usually the give ups...

I've seen it on patched up signatures a few times.... Stands out like Dogs Balls!!!

Well That"s a kick in the guts and News to my ears.
I was told in no uncertain terms diffidently no replacements.

Well the guys at @Hills_News pulled a Sterling Legends Auto that was smudged and they got the same numbered replacement (the foil stamping on the number was different though).

ESP should have to replace this for you.

"Should" have to...

But have no problems telling you they won't.....

After getting this Legend card with an incomplete 4.... 2015 Legends Coote 104.jpg I asked for a possible replacement (obviously not as bad as some of the others) but I was sent this response ...

"Good Moring Andjel,

We have gone thought our storage files for cards and unfortunately we do not have a spare 2015 ESP Traders Legends L5 Ron Coote #104 card to offer you.

The damage you indicated the card has on the gold foiling number should not detract from the overall card design.

We note you have purchased this card via the secondary market, it’s important to carefully review all trading cards prior to the purchase to ensure your happy with the secondary market condition of that card.

We hope you enjoy your Ron Coote Legend Card.

Regards

Terry"

Would others say it does not detract from the card ? As this is my first Legend card and am NOT happy !!!

I would say any kind of damage detracts from the overall value of any card. If you were to get that card graded by CGA I am sure this would impact on the overall rating.

I recall seeing a picture posted here of Wally Lewis signing his legends cards from 14 Traders.

The pile he had in front of him looked to be well over 250.

I know the signing players are given some (not sure how many) but for arguments sake say there are 30 spares, this is a heap of cards to have to replace over the course of a release.

ESP's quality control is terrible. I think that all high end signatures need to go back to being via redemption. The amount of legends signatures I have seen on eBay that have been pulled out of a packet but a kid and then thrown on eBay with dog ears etc is not good.
