ESP Elite 2015 Official Thread (Sell Sheet Page 44)

I will be interested to see how the YG's look in hand.

My favourite signatures from ESP are still the 2013 Traders YG's (despite being unnumbered they were a nice simple design which accentuated the signature and good player selection).

I also really rated the design and player selection of 13 Elite League Sensations and to a lesser extent the Future Stars from the same release

I'm pretty happy with my team's selection. Good mix of favourites plus all the new players. The best bit is that the Green Machine are all wearing green unlike last year when every card except 1 insert was the white away jersey.

Common sets are really superfluous now aren't they?

Just the chaff to be sorted through and chucked.

I opened 22 boxes of 14 elite that i remember counting. Kept 2 common sets. Tried to sell the rest with no luck so threw them out.

In future i will be donating to childrens hospitals etc and those kind of things as a few guys already pointed out they do this and its a much better use of the 'unwanted' cards

Here's the Checklist for those who want it.....

I can't bring myself to throw cards out. I still have about 45 strike base sets.

I'll take any unwanted common cards and hand them out to the kids at my son's primary school...esp Souths commons (I'm slowly brainwashing them all...LOL!).

With the gazillion cards to collect, I can't believe Tom Burgess can't get a card.

My little boy's favourite colour is Green - this is how I am selling the Eels to him - Blue and Yellow make Green.

So far so good.

Just looking back at the ratios and wondering are the ratios not right. Based on results from the case break last night ( unless i missed it) I thought the jersey unsigned jersey card said 1 per 10 boxes, so i would of thought any sig jersey is an extra hit since they are 1:30. Or is that not how it works. Because i would of thought that if the signed replaced it they would be 2 in every 30 boxes, not 1 in 10?

That's what I thought but my case didn't have normal jersey but had the signature also. Maybe some cases have more then 1 normal jersey in them.

Common set is surprising. No Sutton or Burgess for souths? I know they have inserts though.

Happy to see a Grevsmuhl common, wasn't expecting that. All the inserts look nice so I'll just have to pick up the cheap ones.

The ratios advertised are wrong if we assume 630 cases.

630 cases x 10 boxes x 24 packs = 151,200 packs

4 X 150 unsigned jersey cards = 600

151,200 packs divided by 600 cards = 1 in every 252 packs (less than 1 a box)

The sheet only works if there is 600 cases for the advertised unsigned jersey ratio. However the problem is the maths for lets say the mojo packs, specifically stating 1 in every 237 packs means that for this to be right there are (16 teams x 40 each team x 237 packs = 151680 packs, this equals 632 cases.

So how many cases are there is the question!

False advertising OR bad maths

Cheers
Ross
