As Panini America officials continue preparing for the packout and subsequent ship dates for 2012-13 Threads Basketball later this month, The Knight’s Lance remains your home for the revealing first glimpses at several new aspects of the product.
Yesterday, we shared images from the set’s High Flyers insert. Today, we take a look at two more new inserts: Inside Presence and Talented Twosomes.
As its name suggests, Inside Presence honors the game’s most powerful post players with a gritty design and poignant images of the featured superstars doing dirty work down low. Talented Twosomes, meanwhile, takes advantage of teammate photography rarely used on trading cards to honor the best tandems in the NBA.
Both inserts lend a great deal of authentic hoops feel to Threads and should be well received by NBA collectors. Of course, after you’ve had the chance to peruse the following images, we’d love to hear what you think about them.
