In advance of Thursday night’s 2014 NBA Draft, Panini America officials are bringing two top draft prospects to the Modell’s Sporting Goods store at 234 West 42nd Street to sign free autographs and to interact with NBA fans in the days leading up to draft night. Aaron Gordon will appear from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening; McDermott will appear from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
“NBA Draft Week is one of the most important weeks of our basketball season every year,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America Vice President of Marketing. “The NBA Draft represents the first chapter of a new NBA season for us and presents our first real opportunity to begin meaningful relationships with the next class of NBA rookies. Teaming up with a valuable partner like Modell’s Sporting Goods to introduce these players to passionate New York-area basketball fans is a key part of our activation and we look forward to a great week in New York.”
