Please reply here if you have any problems accessing the chat. I've already had reports of one member who shall remain nameless *cough* chad *cough* who is having problems - it appears because of the ® symbol at the end of his name. I will confirm this after some testing with this disgruntled user.

I get a "Socket Server Connection Failed" error. Does this make a direct connection from the client machine to the host server, on a port other than 80? I suspect it is my firewall at work that is blocking it.

Yep runs on a different port to port 80 - it is definately the firewall as I have tested it with the port blocked and it does not allow me access. I unblock the port and it works fine.

i get into the chat screen but the login screen overlaps its and it wont go away

Ooops - ill take a look later. Let me know if it comes back. The chat server should restart every 20 minutes.
