Mavs 16/17!!

Mavs held off Wizards' trio of Arenas, Jamison & Butler to win their 16th out of 17 games....
Wont brag too soon, it's only midway thru season. But they sit nicely @ #1 in the West... LOL.

Anyways, gotta love the way the game ended...

Mavs were up 97-96 after Butler hit a 2.
Inbounded, and somehow Dampier got a layup (99-96).
Arena's missed a jumper, and Terry got a layup (101-96).
Griffin fouls Daniels, side ball. Inbound pass picked off by Howard, leads to break away dunk (103-96).
Howard Tech'd for haning on ring, AD makes Tech FT (103-97).
Jamison missed shot, game end.

LOL, Joshie celebrating a bit early, and gets the Tech... that's funny!!!

as you said don't wont to brag to early, but i wouldn't consider that bragging the Mavs are running hot.

caron butler is having such a good season, now i see why he was drafted at #10, after his rookie season (15 ppg and 1.7 steals) i thought that was the best he could do. especially after his mediocre season the following year. But this year, close to 17 and 7 and 1.8 steals, i can smell a future superstar.

their playing good ball atm but i dont see them advancing far into the playoffs. teams like the mavs almost always crack under pressure, and the playoffs is all about Pressure and playing really tight defence. Its a different ball game, and the mavs rely very heavily on their offensive and come playoffs they will be restricted to around 80 on most nights which wont be good enough in my opinion.
