It’s safe to assume by now, after more than a week on the retail market, that the colorful 2014 Score Football has had the chance to make its unique presence felt on collectors. It’s fun . . . it’s affordable . . . it’s packed with the hottest rookies . . . it’s updated with all of the key players who changed teams in the offseason . . . and it’s delivering an autograph or memorabilia card roughly once every two boxes. In short, 2014 Score Football it’s a blast. It’s also a blaster – or least available in blaster form.

The product’s 11-pack retail blasters began shipping to retail outlets late this week, offering 132 total cards and at least one autograph, memorabilia or unique Team Helmets insert in every box. Earlier this week, Panini America Sales Manager Tim Franz hand delivered a sealed 2014 Score Football retail blaster to the marketing office so we could preview the goods right here on The Knight’s Lance. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do today.

Truth be told, we made quick work of the 11 packs inside, uncovering a whopping 27 Rookie Cards and 13 inserts. It wasn’t until our 11th and final pack, though, that we pulled our guaranteed hit, a nifty Team Helmets insert of a certain high-profile rookie quarterback from the state of Texas who has exclusive ties to Panini America.

While you probably have a pretty good idea of exactly who that is, we’ll let the following gallery provide the definitive answer. Enjoy the preview and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2014 Score Football.
