While most collectors around the country have spent their weekends enjoying local card shows, heated playoff action in the NBA and NHL or scouring online auction sites and message boards for cards on their wantlists, Panini America NBA Brand Managers have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on one of the most anticipated products of the year: 2012-13 Crusade Basketball.
The Quality Control process for Crusade began Friday, and continued bright and early Saturday morning as David Porter, Keith Hower, Corey Hollingsworth and Wes Elliott scrutinized several early boxes of the product to make sure everything was as it should be in advance of the product shipping to hobby shops across the country beginning tomorrow.
We’ll have a complete Quality Control Gallery from the process in the next few days, but we simply couldn’t live with ourselves if we didn’t share some of the preliminary findings from 2012-13 Crusade Basketball with you as soon as possible.
What follows are just some of the early hits from the weekend QC process, highlighted by a jaw-dropping assortment of the product’s namesake Crusade inserts as well as some autographs, memorabilia cards and base cards.
