I don't know who is buying but eBayers and online retail store (in Aust and USA) were selling at $1000-1500 a couple of weeks ago. But think that is all changing now. Except for the big/case hits etc many auto prices are coming down as the market is inundated.

Looking at eBay (and Panini website) it seems price of Hobby boxes (and even cases) are coming down significantly. Am I missing something but why would anyone continue to buy at $1000-1500? Is there a lower probability of finding hit cards in hobby boxes via eBay (as opposed to the retail stores...

What is the general view on Blaster Packs? It seems better value per card but you normally don't get any nice hits/ insert (mainly base cards)?

Had a look at the Checklist on Panini America website. Not many Australia inserts, no Aussie signature cards - only National Landmarks, National Pride and Team Badges. Pretty poor coverage but I suppose reflects where the Socceroos are in world football.

Yeh I picked one limited edition sticker in the box. Not really sure what to do with it as there is no allocated spot for them in the album. Bit of a strange release for stickers. By the way check out www.stickermanager.com - very well developed, so easy and simple to use - perfect for swapping...

I'm also seeing International buyers willing to pay (without hesitation) $35 + $25 postage for cards such as Sergio Ramos Orange Prizm. 1-2 years ago I would struggle to get $10. Am I missing something?

It needs to be promoted in conjunction with FFA and A-League/W-League clubs. And I guess that’s where the problem lies. There is presently so much in-fighting in the game that trading cards is the last thing on their minds (and suppose doesn’t give TapNPlay much confidence in the overall state...

Totally agree. Everyone on this forum know about the cards but do the kids. FFA/ A-League clubs need to promote the trading cards to the kids. Give some away at A-league/ W-league games, local clubs, registration days, football holiday clinics, schools etc. More engagement with kids is needed...

Personally I was ok with the overall quality of the cards. It was just the signature quality, which TapNPlay just brushed aside when I raised it with them.

My Sam Kerr signature card arrived. Very poor quality signature. It seems like it was signed in biro pen. Is there anything we can do under consumer law - argue the product is faulty?

Has anyone come across a Sydney newsagency that sells the album. Has it been released? I’ve been to over 10 newsagents and none of them had the album. Most said they had never seen it arrive.

Today I received my signature cards, both numbered #11. Is it me or could they have used a better pen to sign the cards (or maybe it’s the smoothness of the card). Particularly the Ninkovic card. This kind of lack of attention just leaves a sour taste.

They also have Rhyan Grant (Sydney FC) as a Forward (16/17 card). Not a big deal but a little attention to detail would be nice.

I see this year the A-League patch cards to not arrive in magnetic card holders like last year. The Robbie Slater patch card does not fit in a 35pt one touch magnetic card holder. Does anyone know what size I should get for patch cards - 55pts or 75pts? Thanks.

I busted a box and no silver or gold logo cards.

For me has to be Leckie signature card - the first signature card we got, stylish looking card, nice signature, early edition #9/200 and go the Socceroos!!
