I remember Pogba saying he felt disrespected at Man Utd. It says even the great managers get things wrong from time to time.

yeah i can see how he thought that.. think fergie used the old school tactics to much in terms of pushing a player , which was of a very small amount of fergie downsides. irony though looks like bayern pinched coman from juve yesterday to lol

Kevin De Bruyne signed with Man City. Anyone unsure about how his going to fit into the mid/cam position with the amount of talent at City?
 
Knew he was a talent and knew he killed it in Bundesliga last season but that's a lot of cash! Ozil came from Wolfsburg as well didn't he? So they've produced some talent that's for sure and racking up the cash, hope some starts building and takes down Bayern Munich they've been a class above everyone else for years now. Borussia Dortmund I like them a lot! They could push Munich this year, and don't forget that fortress of a home crowd.

Pretty sure Dortmund won't be playing in European competitions this season so they can focus solely on the Bundesliga. I'm also pretty sure they have kept all there guns Gundogan, Reus, Hummels, Subotic, Aubemeyang. So yeah I don't see why they can't push Bayern for the title. That said there's someone else on here rather than me who knows more about Dortmund.

Have liked Shelvey since LFC days and Gomis.... well, he must be one of the most underrated players around imo.
We looked horribly slow. Carrick is at the end, scheissesteiger is molasses...why we bought him and Darmian who is sh!thouse i don't know. Refer back to money wasting on previous page.
But fair play to Swansea, barring the first 15 minutes they had us covered (as they did last season) and earned a well deserved win. Funny weekend of football but entertaining none the less.
 
Rumour is the de Gea deal fell through, have Real done a crafty one and played United knowing he's free of charge at the end of the season???? Will de Gea get much match time for United if he's still with us? Surely LVG is not dumb enough to leave him out if this Real drama is over... or will that be his new "philosophy" lol. Loan out Januszaj and buy Martial for £36 million??? Smells like panic buy to me.
Sometimes I just don't understand the transfer window...well, from a United perspective.
City, Chelski and LFC bought well and as has been the case for the last 3 seasons we have missed the ones we should have got, overpaid and panic bought on the rest. Fcuk me, i am glad membership is under £60 a year, if we were all paying £100 a year we'd probably have bought Joey Barton for £70 mill hahahaha such is the transfer stupidity we are showing of late.
 
I would love it if De Gea signs a new deal now that he's still at Man Utd. Don't think it will happen but you never know.
Pedro is already the complete package and cost £21 mil.
Martial un proven at £36 plus add ons. I've only seen a small highlights package. Looks like he has a lot of potential. I suppose time will tell.
Not sure why Hernandez was sold. We desperately need strikers , then go and sell one. He averages 1 goal every 3 games for United. Looking back selling Welbeck was a mistake.
I think Jonjo Shelvey got a England recall.
 
Yup i hated the Welbeck sale and still do. Chicharito whilst likeable was not good enough to be a United player imo. But i hear what you're saying, rvp gone, failcao gone (thank god) now Chicharito. Gotta have 2 scoring options spare at least. 2 seasons ago we were top heavy now we have a spare squad in midfield and a few meh defenders barring Smalling which is funny as i don't rate him that highly although he's done very well thus far. Problem with him is that he is always just one brain fart away from conceding a goal.
2 seasons of reshuffling and rebuilding will probably become another 2 seasons. By 2018 Giggs may get it right lol
