Whats the go with waivers..?
if I try to pick up someone off waiver and then someone higher up the waiver order decides they want them before the process date/time then they can grab him straight away??

happened to me with Shelvin Mack the other day, someone dropped him, I picked him up, it was processing for about 24hrs+ and then the deal didn't go through and someone else got him.
 
Yes if someone is above you on the waiver priority order and they put in a claim, they'll get the player and you'll miss out. Not sure what you mean about picking up a player and then the deal not going through - you can't actually "pick them up" until it does go through. Do you just mean you put in a claim for him?

Yeah i already mentioned that to him but apparently Bledsoe is only out 6 weeks, not for the season. I told him if he trades him without the other person knowing about the injury i'd veto it.
 
Bledsoe (knee) underwent surgery to repair the torn meniscus in his right knee and "will pursue a possible return to action during the second half of this NBA season," the Arizona Republic reports.

Word on most sites is they believe that he can return before the end of the season
 
yeah he was basing it on the usual 6-8 weeks for that type of surgery. Dont worry i told him not to offer a long term injured player for anyone decent. He can either stash him, trade for waiver quality player, trade for another long term injury player, or drop him.
 
Talk about injuries.. I've had Vucevic out all week with concussion, Chalmers with a sore achilles, Ginobli with a sore hammy, Parsons with a knee/hamstring problem and Jarret Jack with a broken heart.. lol

gettin smashed this week.. *facepalm*

He's been offered to me twice now in deals to obtain Ibaka. Been offered Blake as well in a deal for Iggy. Getting pretty sick of this. I get my trade offers displayed and dissed in public (even though I wasn't the only one not to see a problem) yet have to put up with that sort or crap. Really frustrating.

i'll have a chat to the owner of Blake (assuming steve blake). I know he sends out dozens of offers in the hope one gets approved, knowing they aren't necessarily fair. If anyone disses your trade offers on here i'm sure it's all in good fun though :) i'll put my hand up and admit ive sent out some shockers.. lol. In hindsight though, some of them would've turned out the other way!

The bad news; my active players are; Jarret Jack plus waiver pick-ups; Pero Antic and Jason Thompson... lmfao.. Ginobli is still DTD and is a game time decision..:confused:
 
WOW, can't believe Vucevic is still out.. Magic had a triple OT vs the Bulls and Vuc would have had a monster game... Though if he played, probably would have won in regulation I suppose.. *sigh*
 
Lots of people have crap FA's and waiver wires on their teams, Sefo & Jack are marginally better players but no-one will trade. ive offered both together for some pretty mediocre players in deals where the other person is definately upgrading in more stats that I am and they could drop a FA scrub.

Anyways. keep trying
