wow, that would be a damn nice card to own. there wouldnt be too many penny GU with a magic jersey piece would there?

The main reason was that they were stated as 1:2500 packs from memory. There were about 30 in the set too. The Jordan can go as high as $700 heres a link to one BIN (The Jordan card actually states that the GU jersey piece was from the 92-93 season)
