Although we’re still awash in the glow of 2011 Prestige Football and*the first officially licensed NFL trading card product of the season,*something as cool as the gallery I’m about to show you from 2011 Donruss Elite Football (due out June 22) just can’t wait.
So, by all means, continue your pursuit of the two-week-old 2011 Prestige, all the while keeping your eyes on the prizes that await collectors in our second release of the season.
*Seen here, for the first time anywhere, are the first Rookie Cards of the season that will include action photography of the 36 sparkling rookies — in their respective NFL uniforms — who attended last month’s*2011 NFL PLAYERS Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles.
While the shimmering foilboard*effect of these 36 Rookie Cards (each numbered to a maximum of 999) doesn’t necessarily resonate on the following mock-ups, there’s*absolutely no denying the first-time “wow†factor of seeing this season’s most coveted newcomers*striking football poses in their professional duds.
But don’t take my word for it. Gawk for yourself . . .
