wii classic pro controller and NFL Madden games (especially 2010)

I have a Wii and wanted to ask if anyone knows if you can use the wii classic pro controller and NFL Madden games (especially 2010)?

I love the Madden series but hate the Wii controllers for this game and the Rugby League game.
