Trent Oeltjen has made his Major League debut today with the Arizona Diamondbacks in Pittsburg against the Pirates - securing a lead off homerun in the eight inning.

Reno Aces outfielder Trent Oeltjen has been called-up to the majors by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Oeltjen takes the roster spot of the injured Justin Upton.

Oeltjen was batting .300 with 27 doubles, 10 home runs and 61 RBI in 106 games with Reno. He was also leading the PCL with 14 triples. Oeltjen also had 19 stolen bases.

It's the first time he's ever been called up to the majors during his 8 year professional career.
