Is this going to be a new format for trade week ? Tuesday to the following Monday ? Gives teams a chance on the weekend to finalise negotiaions so it's not such of a s@@t fight on the last day?

I think it only went down like this because of the draw in the grand final

actually, i think (but dont know for sure) that it is done this way so that negotiation can continue through the weekend and the deadline will fall on a weekday.
just makes sense to me to do it this way.

I'm glad Eagles didn't lose pick 4, 26 or our second round pick on silly trades. The draft this year is very good, after pick 30 it gets more difficult though.
