Hey guys, Ive seen on other forums a couple where people have been collecting one auto of each of the 50 Greatest NBA players of All time.

I wanted to do a similar project but since I didnt really watch 80% of the players on that list, I thought of maybe doing a 50 best NBA players of the last decade, it wouldnt necessarily be based just on their NBA careers/acheivements/stats, but also players who have a big hobby following and are fan favourites.

So on the top of my head I managed to come up with 46 players, though I have a couple debatable players in there because my list was pretty short lol

EDIT: Heres the top 50 Ive managed to come up with so far with everyones suggestions:

Allen Iverson
Alonzo Mourning
Amare Stoudemire
Antawn Jamison
Baron Davis
Ben Wallace
Blake Griffin
Brandon Roy
Carmelo Anthony
Chauncey Billups
Chris Bosh
Chris Paul
Chris Webber
Deron Williams
Derrick Rose
Dikembe Mutombo
Dirk Nowitzki
Dwight Howard
Dwyane Wade
Gary Payton
Gerald Wallace
Gilbert Arenas
Grant Hill
Jason Kidd
Jermaine ONeal
Joe Johnson
Karl Malone
Kevin Durant
Kevin Garnett
Kobe Bryant
Lamar Odom
Lebron James
Manu Ginobilli
Marcus Camby
Michael Jordan
Pau Gasol
Paul Pierce
Peja Stojakovic
Ray Alllen
Reggie Miller
Robert Horry
Russell Westbrook
Shaquille O'Neal
Shawn Marion
Steve Nash
Tim Duncan
Tony Parker
Tracy McGrady
Vince Carter
Yao Ming

Any idea on players who I could add or remove?

The possible other players who Im considering as well are:

Danny Granger
Kevin Love
Al Horford
Rudy Gay
Shawn Kemp
Andre Iguodala
Eric Gordon
Tyreke Evans
Lamarcus Aldridge
Zach Randolph
Richard Jefferson
Rashard Lewis
Rajon Rondo
Kevin Martin
Andrew Bogut
Jason Terry
John Wall

Remove Jason Terry IMO! (good 6th man, but not top 50 of the decade
Remove Lebron (coz its Lebron)

Add:
Richard Jefferson (based on a few years back, not present)
Al Horford
Kevin Love
Jermaine O'Neal

DeJuan Blair ;)

I think you need to more clearly define your terms of reference!
Are we talking last decade - 2000-2009? (No Griffin etc.)
or last 10 years 2002-2011?

Well, he does have Griffin and Evans etc in the list so he would be referring to the last 10 yrs. But I get the feeling its just a rough guide anyway!

Loving how one person setting themselves a goal gets all of this discussion going though. Starting to think it wasn't an accident that he ended up 4 players short

I'd add Paul Pierce in there.

Also Shawn Marion and Peja Stojakovic.

Other have pointed out but Jordan also played in the 1st decade of this century, so he would probably also need to be on that list.

Not sure about Rudy Gay being on the list though.

Nice list so far. How about: Chris Webber, Zach Randolph, Marcus Camby, Kevin Love?

Thanks man :) Havent seen much Chris Webber, but will put Randolph and Camby on

What about 'Big Shot' Robert Horry...7 NBA championships...insane :)

Yeh definitely need him in there

Andrew Gaze?
