Heard from a reliable source, that tla may lose the licence.
1 issue, maybe more.
Way too many complaints to nrl about customer service, ie in relation to redemptions not being fulfilled.

Maybe, tla were making way too many numbered cards.
Anyone that promotes a product, must be able to deliver said product, not wait 12 mths to even get product signed.
Thats a false market and lying to the consumer.

That's part of what's putting me off from starting on more modern sets. There are so many cards in each year's sets plus you're spot on with an overabundance of numbered cards, it'd be nigh on impossible to try to complete them. It's a huge time and $ investment.

I believe that a third party has acquired the AFL license (unsure if it was Fanatics / Topps) but they may engage Select to continue to produce AFL trading cards.
The NRL aspect the hobby is desperate for some higher end releases, not the constant parallel dribble TGI have been putting out. Granted, parallels variants are a massive part of the hobby worldwide these days, but the 2025 Traders is over 70% parallel variants.
Personally, I can't wait for Brilliance style releases, Dally M booklets (retrospective), dual autos of past and present players.
