From the very beginning, Panini America’s popular Spectra Football franchise has managed to stand apart from other Optichrome releases in the company’s product portfolio by sticking to a rigid recipe that calls for vibrant colors, vibrant inks, a captivating array of special-effects finishes and, perhaps most importantly, a content-rich roster of autographs and memorabilia cards. And when it comes to those last two ingredients (autographs and memorabilia cards), 2017 Spectra Football might just be the best Spectra yet.
Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on Wednesday, 2017 Spectra Football delivers, on average, four autographs and seven memorabilia cards in each four-pack hobby box; one box in each eight-box case will deliver an additional eighth memorabilia card. As you’ll see in the revealing Quality Control Gallery below, this year’s edition is bolstered by compelling enhancements, including more than 20 new additions to the popular and continuing HOF Signatures insert (Jim Brown, Howie Long and more) and the striking new Nebula parallel.
Each box should include at least one Rookie Patch Autograph, and each case should yield one Dual Autograph Memorabilia card and at least two on-card autographs.
