My boys just bought two starters.
6 parallels and a FOTG.
At least they saved $4.

That's very harsh bad luck. There's only supposed 5 or 6 dud packs per box based on the odds, getting basically all of them in one hit is ridiculous. although i guess i got 2 1/9 hits and a 1/12 from my starter pack so for every one of those there's gotta be some crap ones.
Back onto the commons - from 3 packs i got x3 commons from raiders and eels, 1 each from bulldogs, titans, knights, panthers, rabbitohs, dragons, none from broncos or cowboys and 2 each from the other teams.

2 x 0
so the distribution isn't as bad as i previously thought but i've still got horrible luck snagging my own team's cards

Meh. It is what it is. Kids were happy seeing them in the shops again. They're collecting cans to pay for their packets so it's all good. They get to keep what they bust anyway. If they'd busted a sig, they'd have hated me for taking it...which I would LOL!!!

Got my first taste this arvo with 3 starters.
Quite impressed with the designs and general feel.
For all the negativity towards the parallels, these are genuine parallels (exactly the same image as commons) and I really like 'em.
So I didn't do much with the packs.
1 x FOTG (never been a fan and that hasn't changed)
1 x LLOD (big tick)
2 x SOO (has there ever been a sponsor's logo on an NRL card)
4 x STR ( I prefer the matt finish to the glossy but still OK)
But Startoons were better, and I didn't even think to check the packs, just grabbed 'em.

Yeah, no doubt, but it's a first for footy cards I'd think. Individual sponsors logo's printed on the card?
Not a fan of commercialisation when it comes to things like this but would of been worse if it was for VB considering they were originally designed for kids , or big kids as it may be now lol

The sponsor paid for that spot on the Blues logo afaik so they're obliged to use it. I'm pretty sure that the "Holden" State of Origin logo was also used on the cards last year as well
Didn’t think it was as prominent as this years though ? Good advertising as it’s got people talking about it .
Maybe OCT could pay for a spot next year? lol

they changed the designs to make the team emblems more prominent, last year they were just in the corner iirc. the nsw logo has the bryden's sponsor incorporated into it now so obviously they've kept it on there. they don't censor the sponsors on the jerseys either to be fair.

How much better is this card compared to the glory Stuart signature! Great clear image love it!I bought a starter pack mostly for the wrappers and got to be the best hit I’ve busted in a long time
