Tap 'N' Play Announcement - Rugby Union

For those that are interested, just had confirmation from Tap N Play that stock of Rugby Union will be in selected Newsagents from this coming Thursday.

Cheers
Matt

spoe with my local newsagent an he says he thinks he is getting them this coming monday, so some other newsies might be the same

Agree, it's a nice simple set. Collation is spot on, and essentially there is 2 complete base sets in a box. Getting a signature card in each box is brilliant, and the number of signature cards available is really impressive.

Providing a jersey card is also good, particularly for a set of this size.

Glad there is only one parallel set to collect, and basically there is a gold card in every pack unless it's an insert card.

The All Star cards are a nice design. Some of the images in the Greatest Moments inserts are a little disappointing, but maybe the range of photo stock was limited.

Would have liked to have seen the Super Rugby teams included, but probably licensing issues raise their ugly head again.

Timing of the release is likey to be a problem when it's goes up against NRL and AFL releases, and no Wallabies games on the radar until June (in the UK).

So it might end up being a difficult to complete a full master set.

The issue I've heard is that each of the super rugby teams have their own licence so this may be an obstacle. Likely we would only see Australian teams in next years release and I would expect to see more of the wallabies signature cards which were made but not part of this release....

With The super rugby season underway and tests mid year like the beldisloe it's got some longevity to hopefully be a successful release at only 150 cases.

This release may not have got the love it deserved...

Great win by the Wallabies last night against the Springboks & it was fantastic to have some cards to get some ip's from the players when they arrived in Perth this arvo...

Just wanted to share some of the ip's (for a personal collection) & thanks to Tap 'n' Play for this release =D>
