Round 1 East: Bulls in 4; Magic in 6; Heat in 6; Celtics in 6.
Round 1 West: Spurs in 4; Lakers in 6; Trailblazers in 6; Thunder in 7.
Semi Finals East: Bulls in 6; Heat in 7.
Semi Finals West: Spurs in 6; Thunder in 7
AHAHAHA! That was my prediction! Im never, ever confident about picking series wins but I made my predictions based on the way the teams had travelled through the season..... Im not the only one that Predicted Spurs to sweep the Grizz!!!
And I was also more referring ti the actual FANS in this thread that were confident even after Grizz won 2 games of the Spurs prevailing!!
So all in all....... It was a prediction! In no way am I a Spurs fan!!!!
^^^ Lol steady as she goes Ian...it's okay, everyone thought the Spurs were going to go deep in the playoffs. They were the most dominating team for long stretches in the regular season and with a healthy team, they looked like the team to beat.
What an effort especially considering their best player (IMO) Rudy Gay isnt around. I wonder if this success will impact on his future in the team, do they even need him now?

Rudy Gay off the bench would almost put them in the top 6 NBA teams imo. Def got some good chemistry going or caught the spurs a bit injured. Still unsure why blair was not playing more in the finals after having a good season

Somewhat uncertain how Rudy would have affected the team.
Without him the Grizzlies were able to play both Battier and Allen heavy minutes, and their defensive against Ginobili and Parker can't be understated. I wonder what would have happened if Rudy was on the floor, he's a good defender too, but still..
brilliant history making win by the griz... it just seemed the whole series like they caught the spurs off guard because they werent expecting this sort of outcome and consistently good inside play by their bigs... zach and gasol smashed em
Rock on Griz & ZBo is insane..... just glad we got home court against them & we got a lot bigger with Perk & Mohamned to compete against their front line. Gonna be hard still that's for sure!!
