last month tagmens for lower rank players (non all star etc) were selling for about 50 US, this month all the tagmen listings are at $150 US (zach randolph 150, JR smith 3 days to go 40 US).

do u guys reckon this is a fair price for a #/3 patch?

The tag men will cost a bit i am bidding on the jr so i will push it to the extreme if others in states want it so i could see it go over $200 because i am prepared to spend $200+ on the card but lower end players depends if you collect them mate to verify the value of the card .

For a #/3 Tag card all bets are off. True collectors of the player will be willing to pay whatever it takes, and it can take alot in some cases given how rare they are and how nice they are. Though I doubt it would get that high, I would be happy to pay $150 for a Korver Tagmen (if there was 1). That's the mentality of true collectors though.

Not sure about that one Ben, I agree they are rare etc, but the JR one Esko is talking about, the patch is relatively small, even as a JR collector, I'm not a massive fan of that years subset, unlike the one I have of Frye which is massive in my pc.

yeh i've always thought the tag men are great looking cards.
Im kicking myself for not going for the Paul Pierce one around 4months or so ago on Ebay.
Ended up selling for around $100, so not a bad price!!

06-07 have been over priced lately imo, but in the end, it's up to what the collector wants to pay for it. 07-08 patches are worth every penny though!

Well I know of a few jr collectors who will be putting some serious $$$ down on it, esko has already said he's prepared to go $200+, so my guess is 200-250.

It also depends on the player, as a JR collector, there's plenty of competition for his rare cards. You thinking about dropping a dime on the card also?

I'd sit on it for now, being off season, lots of cards are selling for less than their ave season prices. But on the other hand, tagmen seems all the rage atm, so you may aswell strike whilst the iron is hot!

100% increase in price is pretty big, i've never watched any tag stuff but if ppl are willing to pay $250 i cant see it being market demand, just player collector demand....the Frye is awesome!!!

The bogut you were talking about yawnie last month went for $237. Us over $260 Aus dollars i missed it due to a couple cp3's i was chasing mate but i was surprised due to i have the lower portion of the logo tag i purchased from cal a month earlier

I think with his last season, being a #1 draft pick, they'll start to take notice of the big boy from endeavor hills.

thats what i was thinking too, shame it didnt go to an ozzie collector but good to see the yanks are fans of bogut...
