Server Upgraded To PHP 5.2.8 & MySQL5

Hi guys
Just a quick note to explain the down time this morning.
I have just completed updating the server to PHP 5.2.8 and MySQL 5 .

This should result in performance improvements for the forums as the vBulletin software is optimised for the above setup.

Hope things are all ok and please let me know if there are any dramas.

i am guessing here but i think its to update all the programs used on the site

Yes its the backend system that makes the site tick along. The upgrades provided improvements to make it run better therefore meaning you will spend more time here.
