Select Release Information

I don't know if it has been covered in another thread before but I hope someone can tell me.

I'm interested in knowing exactly how many cards (commons, inserts, etc) are released in each series (from the 2000 Select series through to the 2009 Select series)
It's easy to find how many cards are in each pack and how many packs are in box and the expected ratio of insert cards but is there a list somewhere of exactly how many boxes or cases are released for each series.

Does Select release this information or does anyone have this info. This info is pretty scarse on GamedayTradingCards.

Can anyone help with or share this info?

Not sure how many boxes of the cheaper packs there are but for the hobby boxes that come later in the year is usually either 5000 or 5500 boxes. Last year for centenary they made 10000 boxes and it seems that was way too many considering they can be bought so cheap.

Hi not 100% sure but i think the most limited releases were year 2000 and 2005 power series.

I had a look at some of my checklists where I had written down the number of boxes. The ones with ? i'm not all that confident on but thats what I have written down. The others I'm pretty sure on. Maybe someone can confirm the missing ones.

10,000 for 2001? No wonder the All Star sigs, numbered to 100, were quite hard to come across from that set, you'd have to open a lot of packs to get one.

Anyone know why 2005 was such a small run? I liked it, meant all the numbered cards were a pretty low number ... Future Force was out of 260 or something, which was cool (although Knights as usual didn't get the best player, so it was pretty much nullified for my collection haha).

2002- 7000 Boxes
2003- 5500 Boxes
2004- 6000 Boxes
2005 (T)- 7500 Boxes
2005 (P)- 3500 Boxes
2006 (A)- 7500 Boxes
2006 (I)- 5000 Boxes
2007 (C)- INFINITY
2007 (I)- 5000 Boxes
2008 (CH)- INFINITY
2008 (CE)- 10000 Boxes (Close to Infinity)
