Too young and a big FU to cancer!
Sam Simon, co-creator of iconic cartoon The Simpsons, has died aged 59 after a long battle with cancer.
Simon was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2012 and said at the time he knew the disease was terminal.
His final years were filled with charitable projects, including the donation of millions of dollars to animal rights causes.
He also created the Sam Simon Foundation, which fed families in need and provided service dogs to veterans.
Simon died at home surrounded by family and his beloved dog, TMZ has reported.
