Does anyone know whether there is a cafe on site? Disinterested spouse wants to come along but will need coffee and a place to sit while I nerd it up for a few hours.

It is in Coorparoo, there will be a stack of good coffee shops in close vicinity.

@The Game of Sport there's a couple of shopping malls close by, but that will only occupy less than an hour.
There is Carindale Westfield which is a 10 min drive from the venue
@Brendan_B I thought you were joking , but there's about 10 coffee joints in the area

We will be here once again with sealed boxes of sports and non sports, loose packs, inserts, commons and a limited range of supplies (see pics below)

Haha yeah, Coorparoo is becoming one of the more expensive areas as it is considered ‘inner city’. It is an older suburb that was full of post war cottages but these are all getting bought up and redeveloped. Lots of good eating in the area also and the mighty Eastern Suburbs Tigers is just down the road
