PC Battle Shootout – Round 2 – Quarter Finals​

After some cracking cards in round 1 causing some close and some not so close results, we are at round 2.
8 participants left still including the likes of Wilt, LBJ, MJ & the Admiral himself. Once again, I have done my best to put like with like and make the most even groups possible. Not always straight forward, but I tried!

If only bowman made those on card autographs (such a sweet design) but I have to go with Mrs Robinson for this matchup
 
this one was tough.. i like drob for being a nice 90's inserts and i donnt really like the bowman 48's there too blah. but the patches saved it and got my vote
 
I know what PMGs are and how hard they are to come across and how expensive they are - but I just don't fully appreciate inserts. Sticker auto takes a lot away from that Dwight but the patches are nuts and it's basically twice as hard to get as the PMG. Dwight gets my vote.

BTW.... does anyone else think skip should become the official commentator for the PC Battles?????

This was the hardest choice for me as I love the PMG, but the dwight is right, so it got my vote.

You are right, i hate sticker autos but i love this card, glad i overcame my repulsion of stickery things and got it!

I love PMG's not because of the hype, but just they were supercool in there day! ( if this card had been in my possession when drob50 wanted the 4 entries it would have been it would have been a fairer competition!!!)

+1 for me - every great battle needs a punchy commentator to get people excited to jump into or throw in some comments R, L and Center:razz:
