A road-worn, weary and tattered team of
Panini America*employees is slowly making its way back to the office this morning following a furious — and once-in-a-lifetime — five-day excursion to Italy for a company meeting in honor of Panini’s 50th anniversary.
We descended upon Panini’s homeland with members from the company’s 13 other global subsidiaries, including
Russia,
Brazil,
France, the
United Kingdom,
Chile,
Mexico,
Turkey and
Switzerland. We toured the home-base production facility in Modena, Italy, last Thursday and then spent three days in Venice*soaking up that city’s enchanting splendor (and eating the greatest pizza on the planet).
We took lots of pictures, too. Of the production facility . . .*of a*most uplifting*gala*held Saturday night that featured a patriotic theme and impassioned speeches from the leaders*of all 14 subsidiaries . . . of just some of the sights afforded by a daylong stroll around Venice.
Share some of our sights with us in the gallery below and stay tuned to
The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage in the days ahead.
