Beginning Friday inside the Indiana Convention Center, the spectacle known as the 2oth NFL Experience will kickoff nine straight days of participatory games, displays, entertainment attractions, kids’ football clinics, free autograph sessions and the largest football memorabilia show ever in conjunction with Super Bowl XLVI.
As in past seasons, those last two events — the free autographs and the memorabilia show — will be co-sponsored by Panini America, and our plans for the show are about as grand as the big game itself. Why? Glad you asked.
For starters, Panini America has produced its largest NFL Experience-exclusive set ever, a football fan’s dream chase that includes seven Super Bowl MVP wrapper-redemption cards, 10 Indianapolis Colts cards honoring the host team and two nine-card sets devoted to key members of the New England Patriots and New York Giants.
But one of the highlights of the show for hometown fans will likely be the exclusive 10-card tribute to the storied career of Colts living legend Peyton Manning that will be given away free to fans and collectors who visit the Panini America booth during the NFL Experience’s opening weekend.
As for the other parts of the set . . .
  • Collectors will get to choose one of the seven Super Bowl MVP cards for every three packs of 2011 Panini America NFL product they open at the company’s booth
  • Collectors who purchase the complete Panini America NFL Experience set (which includes the 10-card Colts set, the nine-card Patriots set and the nine-card Giants set) will also receive a special limited-edition Super Bowl XLVI patch card available only at the NFL Experience while supplies last.
You can get your first look at every card in the gallery below. Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for complete coverage of the Super Bowl XLVI NFL Experience. We look forward to seeing you in Indianapolis.
