Prior to last season, fans and collectors could easily identify the two primary drivers of Panini America’s Absolute Memorabilia Basketball franchise as the venerable Tools of the Trade autograph memorabilia cards and the rare etched Glass insert. But last season’s addition of Uncirculated base cards seems to have added one more driver to one of the hoops hobby’s most popular products. When 2018-19 Absolute Memorabilia Basketball arrives in hobby shops across North America in late November, all three components will return intact.
On average, each hobby box (three cards per pack, two packs per box, 10 boxes per case) will deliver two autographs, two memorabilia cards and two Uncirculated base cards (one Veteran and one Rookie). This year’s 25-card Glass insert will feature a potent mix of top NBA superstars and the hottest rookies.
Additional highlights of 2018-19 Absolute Memorabilia Basketball include . . .
- More on-card-autograph designs with the addition of the Hoopla Signatures and 10th Anniversary Autograph inserts.
- Collect Tools of the Trade Signatures three ways. Each card showcases an autograph and either three, four or six swatches of memorabilia featuring a combination of jerseys, hats and basketballs.
- Collect the 100-card Uncirculated base set; new this year are Gold parallels numbered to just 10.
