Well it's Friday night and I've got a few spiced rums under the belt (love the Kraken and Sailor Jerry) so I hopped on the iPad and bought some $hit. It's time for some more cards. I'm due to break the above 3 boxes at about 11:00-11:30 AWST (Perth time) this evening.

Cross your fingers for me I get a couple of fun items.

Box break will be live at www.dacardworld.com/live

Nice hit on the Bird mate, cant mate to see a photo of it in hand, will it be on card? But if you get all the base I may be keen on the gem (Matty Delly Base) :) when they come in

Cheers, I hope the Bird's on card but not sure.

Will post some pics when they arrive.ill let u know about the base.

Thought I would post pics now the cards have arrived. Nothing too exciting, except of course for the Bird.

I have to say that the quality of the panini signature cards looks terrible. They all seem to have lines or marks on them where it looks like the ink has run or something as they have been slotted in next to other cards? Not sure if this shows up properly but have tried to take a closer pics of it. It's particularly prominent on all 3 cards near their name and number.

A little OT, but how do personal breaks work with DAC? Is it generally more cost effective to let them do the break and ship you the cards over just shipping you the sealed box/es?

Yeah definitely more cost effective. It's a little clunky when checking out as you still have to select a paid postage option. But you then tell them you want it broken live and they adjust it to free postage afterwards.

They ship all cards including the base and put any inserts in penny sleeves and top loaders.

Not bad. I paid a touch over $30 for postage for 2 boxes last time. Might try the personal break next time round - while it doesn't have the same fun as opening the packs yourself it does save a bit.

Cheers.

Yeah I have done a couple of boxes myself from them I think postage was $33USD and the other purchase I did live. I agree definitely not as much fun as breaking it yourself but quite a saving.
