Ozfootball's Mid-Year Competition
Over the last few months I've been picking up bits and pieces with the intent to host a MLB All Star Break comp on OCT. However, I've decided to go early this year. So if you're interested, dust off your abacus, oil your penetrometer and please feel free to have a go.
The Question
What will be the winner's time in the Ken Cox Handicap for 3YO fillies over 1400m at Flemington on Saturday 14 June 2014?
As horse races are timed to the 100th of a second, your answer should be in that form.
Simply, the closest answer wins.
As a start, the Flemington track record over 1400m is 1.20.60 set in 1992.
The race is pencilled in to start at 1405, so entries will close at 1300. I will confirm start time once the VRC has listed the acceptances.
edit 27/5/14 : I forgot to mention that you are able to change your guess up until the competition close time.
