More than 250 hobby shops across the USA and Canada participated in the 2010-11 Panini NHL Player of the Day hobby shop promotion.* Much like its sister program in the NFL, the first NHL hobby shop promotion has been a tremendous success.
As the NHL Playoffs come to an end shortly with the hoisting of the Stanley Cup by either Vancouver or Boston/Tampa Bay, we are also planning to hand out a big prize by selecting the Grand Prize winner of the Panini NHL Player of the Day National Sweepstakes.* One lucky collector will get the chance to spend the day with an NHL player including a private party at his home and a free autograph session for the entire community at his local hobby shop.

We also want to thank ALL of the hobby shops who hosted the promotion and all of the collectors who participated.* The first year of any promotion is not without a few bumps and bruises, so thanks for sticking with us. We received some great feedback and we will utilize that feedback to make next year better.
To those shops that did not have a chance to participate this season, don’t despair because we hope to expand the promotion to include more shops next year.
