Mate that is fantastic!!!
IMO, It is well set out, Title page opens fast, colours work well, easy to read and no annoying sounds, adverts and moving things is a plus, I like it ....but... two negs, I would like to have a thumbnail pic open on mouseover for each card and I could not find the AFL section... maybe an oversight?.
Excellent stuff with the added features you have put up... Just a quick question the 2005 catalogue, on my browser IE doesn't appear to be the year on each page eg 1948 is it there or not, have you done all the work in another browser?
I gather with the thumbnail pic its in the wish lists, if so impossible to do as I don't have them to scan and too much damn work for little benefit.
Thanks
Na I was referring to your tradelists if someone wants to trade or buy your cards they would like to know what they are buying, remember it is a website not OCT, people don't know you or your feedback etc.like they do on here and if it is someone from here, they will buy/trade off you from here not your website. nevertheless full credit to what you have achieved to date. I hope this is of some help, MTCW

Thanks Steve, it is of help for sure, to be honest I am not sure where the web site will go from here, I did not set up an eCommerce shop front because I have no intention of selling, what I did want to achieve is a central location for all my wish and trade lists. Here on OCT I have lists in league, cricket and non-sport and it was too difficult to have all those links in my sig.............so by consolidating them in my website I kill two birds with one stone so to speak. I have tried to make it clear that only the cards in my lists are for trade all the others in the gallery etc are there for your viewing pleasure.
I agree people will trade with me via OCT but the website is now my vehicle for listing what I need and what I have to trade..........its gonna be fun to see what happens next.

isn't a .com an expensive way to achieve that?

Maybe but I don't think so, it was less than 20 dollars for a year, when I renew I will do so for way more than 3 years if I can as that will be a better price per year. You see I have regulars that I trade with who are not members of OCT, the website I think will cut down on my work and its just plain fun. I organised the domain thru G here on OCT, a .com.au site would have been nearly triple the price from memory.
Thanks for your comments

Well the last update done for the evening......takes about 5 minutes for the site to refresh to the latest version. Prolly no more updates for a few days, will spend some time labeling all the cards in my bucket so you know what you are looking at....................lol
Thanks for all to replied, your opinions were much appreciated as they made me consider questions based around all the interrogatives (who, what, where, why, when and how).........lol
Great work Dave. It's very quick to load and a nice clean layout. My only suggestion would be to reduce the photosize on the home page (or max it to a proportion of screen). It's fine for a full size monitor but too big for a laptop/netbook, so the text can only be read by scrolling. Jen
Nice one Dave - .com is $19 a year and a .com.au is $45 for 2 years - so almost the same price. BUT you need an ABN for the .com.au - that's the only catch.
Great work you've done so far - I really didn't know what to expect when you set it up but you've done great!
