Music CD Storage

hey all,

Just interested in your solutions on storing music CDs. Having CD towers around the house these days are a bit of an eyesore, and my wife has put me in charge to come up with a better solution.

My current options are:

- rip all cds to the PC and sync to Ipod, then sell or store the CDs in boxes in the garage. But what to do when in the car?

- put all cds in folders and throw away the cases and covers

So what solutions have you got going, and is it working for you?

Hey mate,

You should be able to wire the iPod up into the car's stereo system. You can on ours but I am unsure on others.

As for the car... you should be able to put about 10 CD's + worth of songs onto one CD in mp3 format.

I would go the first option. I would never get rid of my original CDs. If you don't have a jack to plug the ipod into the car you can get a wireless FM tuner which is what I do. It transmits a signal on a free station then just tune your stereo to the station your ipod is broadcasting on.
