This time last Friday, we pulled the curtain back on what I thought was the packout process for the Panini America juggernaut that is 2011 National Treasures Football. Turns out that stunning gallery wasn’t the packout process at all. It was the pre-packout process to weed out cards that, for any number of reasons, didn’t make the cut.
Fast forward one week and the all-hands-on-deck approach at the Panini America printing facility across town continues with folks still neck deep in National Treasures (trust me, if you have to buried in any product, it would be National Treasures). Today, though, the troops are engaging in the critical hand-collation process, one of the final steps prior to shipping.
Once again this week, our exclusive peeks into this blockbuster release are in the capable hands of Kevin Haake, Panini America’s Retail Sales Manager who’s pulling double duty this afternoon.
Already today Haake has sent over a Treasures trove of images, which you can access below. He also shot a brief video that we’ll add to this post later today.
Enjoy the images that follow and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional image updates as the day progresses.
